Thursdays, early afternoon at 2 pm (40 minutes)
Invitation open to all:
Yoga Nidrā is a gentle guided meditation done in śavāsana (laying down). The guide will use gentle prompts to try and lead the experiencer to a place of deep rest where they may flirt between the boundaries of sleep and wakefulness or straight to a nourishing afternoon snooze. There's a slow and long body scan, theres flirting with imagery, there's lots of space (silence) and deep philosophical questions u may or may not miss cuz you're sleeping. There is no experience needed, maybe just a blanket or two along with a eye pillow or (my personal favourite) a clean sock over the eyes.
Why I luv Nidrā
In November I held a daily Nidrā practice and found that my body slowly acclimatized to it and what resulted was a foundation for deep, nourishing rest that supported my waking hours. When my cup feels full, my mind turns to Nidrā and when I wake up I feel like at least $100, if not $120 (what is money anyways in a place where capital doesn't exist? -- maybe that's why I like it so much here)
This is a Pay-What-U-Wish offering meaning: you are investing in your own practice and the guide suggests considering a range between $11-22 per session. All transactions can be done via etransfer to griarte.n@gmail.com
