Breathe + Restore

Saturday May 24th at 4-5:30pm

You are invited to a 90-minute session at The Move Room. All you need to bring is yourself; we'll handle everything else. Expect a calming prānāyām (breathwork) practice followed by a restorative yoga and sound bath that will guide you into a state of deep rest, nourishing you from within.

This workshop is suitable for all experience levels, and is perfect for those who snore, those seeking a moment of solitude, or those who are curious about new self-care practices. In short, this special workshop is for you.

May 31st @ 3pm EST

In celebration of Asian Heritage Month, we’re gathering your favourite ates for an afternoon of creative movement, connection, and deep rest. This event is all about play, ease, and restoration — all you have to do is show up and let your ates take care of you!

We’ll begin with a Movement Flow Workshop led by Taranee — an invitation to reconnect with your inner child through floor-based movement and playful transitions. This workshop blends elements of contemporary dance, acrobatics, capoeira, and yoga for a joyful, embodied experience. Next, we’ll ease into stillness as Tash guides you through intentional prāṇāyām (breathwork), grounding your body and preparing you for rest. Then, indulge in a full hour of healing as Denys offers acupuncture alongside Tash’s sound bath — a powerful pairing of physical and energetic medicine. While the needles and vibrations work their magic, your ates will provide supportive touch to help you release, relax, and restore.

ECHO CHAMBER: summer sounds series

Full + New Moon

Echo Chamber: Summer Sounds Series

An echo chamber is defined as an environment where a person encounters only beliefs or opinions that align with their own, reinforcing their existing views while shutting out alternatives.

It’s often painted in a negative light—seen as a refusal to embrace complexity or nuance. But what if we let go of “good” or “bad” and instead reimagined the echo chamber as a portal inward and upward—a resonant space to connect with deeper wisdom?

The rhythms of the moon offer us guidance, nudging us through life’s turning points, reminding us of who we are and who we’re becoming.

Or maybe… it’s simply a summer evening of ancient science and gentle presence, here in the middle of this concrete jungle. It doesn’t have to be complicated. Instead of being told how to feel, we’ll quiet the noise and listen to the wisdom we already carry—muted by modernity, but never lost.

And yes, the Peets will be here. If we’re lucky, she might curl up beside you.

Schedule:

Arrive by 7:45 PM.

We’ll begin with a grounding circle—introductions, card pulls, and space to be.

You might journal, draw, listen to the birds. The path is yours to follow.

We'll share what we notice, and hold space for whatever arises.

Then comes the sound bath, gently carrying us from day into night—an evening to remember the science of within and above.

Energy Exchange:

$65 for five spots

$30 for a single spot

$120 for both dates
