Tash (she/her) is a dedicated, life long yoga philosophy, decolonization and movement student. She uses motion, stillness and an earth-based understanding to realize and embody a human experience from a place of compassion and curiosity. This foundation seeps into her teaching and in all her waking hours.
Reiki is divine energy that can’t do any harm.
What does this mean for you? Reiki is a really powerful way to come back to intention, purpose and sacredness of being. Life outside and inside can sometimes be tumultuous and feel out of grasp/overwhelming/scary. Reiki has a tremendous way of recalibrating the energy inside of us so that it resettles so we may start to find more space to pursue our intentions with meaning and integrity. Start to align all the ways in which we are.
There is sacred energy inside all of us, this is undeniable. Reiki allows us to access that in a real tangible way. Ask yourself, what does this mean for you?
My intent with reiki is to hold space for folx to clear excess energy so you can start to really focus, find mental clarity and hopefully a sense of calm that fortifies your ability to really do your best ~ whatever that may look/feel like.
In order for me to continue this work it is necessary for me to acknowledge my guides ~ seen and unseen, heard and unheard. My ancestors whose blood run through my veins and visit me in my dreams. The ancestors of the land where I practice, the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples. Elders who show me the way and my kapwa who are on my corner ~ always letting me know. All the reiki masters that have come before me, specifically my teacher Clare Kenty, her teachers all the way back to Dr. Mikao Usui. I am not here alone and this act of remembering is my way of offering gratitude. Thank you thank you thank you.
