Reflection questions
1. During this meditation, did I notice my breath? If so, how did it affect my body? If not, write a brief permission slip giving myself time and space to ease into this practice. Include any kind reminders that shift my mindset from pressure to invitation—perhaps as a note of forgiveness, a prayer for ease, or words that feel most natural and compassionate.
2. Am I able to discern the difference between my physical body creating space for the breath and the space the breath occupies within my body? When I pay attention at this granular level, how does my attention shift? What sensations, thoughts, or qualities do I begin to notice instead?
3. What beliefs about meditation am I ready to let go of because they no longer serve me? Which beliefs, curiosities, or approaches am I excited to explore more deeply?
