Deep Rest

50 hour restorative training for wellness facilitators

Coming January 2027 to Toronto Yoga Co

the role of the teacher

Rest is more than putting people in a pose.

Restorative yoga asks us to slow down and pause in a gentle way. So we can discern between what the world asks of us VS what it is we truly need moment to moment. In short: restorative elements and practices can give us clarity and inner peace.

This training explores the relationship between supported movement, breath, nervous system regulation, sensation, supportive touch, elements of Traditional Chinese Medicine, stillness and presence — while giving teachers the practical tools to create restorative experiences that are thoughtful, accessible and well held regardless of modality of practice.

Role of the Teacher

You’re part of the process. We keep communication open and decisions shared—no black boxes or surprises.

Nervous System

Every project is different. We stay flexible and responsive to make sure the process fits your flow—not the other way around.

Supportive Touch

When we deliver, it’s not just a finished product—it’s a solution you can trust, backed by real care and effort.

A bold reimagining of a timeless brand.

  • Tash doesn’t just talk the talk, she shares from a genuine place of experience, practice, and education - without being preachy! All her classes are an opportunity to tune deeply inwards and her guidance is grounded, real and makes it about you and your experience. She’s also funny and weaves light heartedness into her teachings! Highly recommend joining this training with her.

  • If you’ve taken a yoga class with Tash before, you’ll recognize this feeling: leaving class rested, supported, and with a sense that you learned something new. The spaces Tash creates in teacher trainings reflect that same experience in a really beautiful way. Tash’s trainings are a true extension of who she is, both on and off the mat. She brings so much knowledge, care, and generosity to what she does, and that comes through in every training she leads. Tash expanded my understanding of restorative yoga and pranayama while also giving me the confidence to move forward as an instructor. As someone who has participated in multiple trainings led by Tash, I can’t wait for the next opportunity to learn from her.

  • Tash is an amazing instructor and very supportive of everyone’s unique experience during practice.
